How does this work? >

The code works on the principle of polynomial regression:

Data from 2023 (compiled from various sources) are used to calculate band scores with the formula:

\( \left( \frac{M}{180} \right) \times 0.5 + (B \times 0.5) \)

Where M is your KCET mark (out of 180) and B is your board percentage. The resulting average score is compared against historical data to predict your rank.

Using polynomial regression, we can determine ranks for given scores. Note that:

In regions with sparse data, predictions may be off.
KCET 2024 conditions may differ from 2023.
Other factors may come into play.
